Born on October 12,1947 in Jacmel. He co-founded "Saint Soleil" with Tiga and Louisianne Saint-Fleurant, a "school of painting" admired by Andre Malpoux,Seldon Rodman among others. He was one of the best-known of the Saint Soleil group. He exhibited widely in Haiti, Israel, Germany, at Soisson La Montagne festival, France 1975, USA etc. Prospere Pierre Louis died in November 1996.
